I'm happy to report that lkiv's made some progress on Candles, and that they may conceivably be fixed some time in the near future!

But for now I'm going to change our distribution policy a bit. I'm going to start spawning them in people's inventories since it's easier than meeting up with people, our players come from very diverse time zones. The usual Candle warnings still apply, they are still bugged for now and the player is fully responsible for anything that happens to their character as a result of using them.

Just post in this thread or send an email to the admin email account if you want one, tell me which character you want it on, and please allow for some time for delivery. Also keep in mind that this can only happen when the character is logged out.

Hey all, it's time for a good old-fashioned drop event! On Monday the 6th, drops will be doubled to 6x for one week!

Then on Sunday the 12th at 1:00 PM PST, there will be a boss spawning event while the event is still going, after which the server will be restarted and the event will end!

The Westknights Lineage server has been restarted to add a few items:

• Cloak of Illusionist is now in-game and has been added to Mandra's shop in Oren
• Hand of Reaper is now in-game and is dropped by Grim Reaper
• Spirit Defender is now in-game and is dropped by Spirit
• Great Spirit of Water (TOI) now drops Spirit Crystal (Pollute Water)

The Westknights Lineage 1 server is going down for a quick maintenance and to end the enchantment event.

After the server comes back up I'm going to run a short event for the beginning of the new year! I will be spawning various looter mops (meaning, mops that pick up items) in the forests of the Aden overland map, and dropping cash and prizes for them to pick up! The prizes will range from crappy to godly, so start searching those woods!

The Westknights Lineage server is being restarted for a quick maintenance to make the following changes:

• Solid Carriage can now be used with a guarder
• Added -drop command to toggle drop messages from the server
• Thebes proc is now earth element
• More reasonable time on Thebes portal - Old: ~2 weeks up, ~3 weeks down; New: 19 hours up, 13 hours down
• Adjusted drop rate of Osiris chest bottom pieces to be more in line with top pieces
• Chainswords have been boosted in line with other 2HS
