This post describes how to connect to the Westknights Lineage 1 private server and create a new account. If you have any questions please post a reply.

Please note that step #3 is only for Windows 64-bit users~!

1) Download game client
LINK: ftp://ftp.lineage-us.com/USLin_206_01.exe

2) Install game client then start it normally to connect to NC servers and download updates

3) FOR 64-BIT VISTA/WIN7 ONLY! This step is only for machines using 64-bit Vista or Windows 7. If you aren't sure, skip this step. Download the following zip file and extract the files inside it to your Lineage install folder, overwriting the existing files.

4) Download this zip file and put the .exe inside it in your Lineage install folder, usually C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Lineage on Windows XP or C:\Program Files(x86)\NCSoft\Lineage on Vista.

5) Right click on the LinDC_EpU.exe file in your Lineage install folder and choose "Create Shortcut" then drag the newly created shortcut to your desktkop.

6) Right click the new shortcut on your desktop and choose "Properties" and then add the server IP address (69.181.75.11) after the existing text in the target field. See the picture below for how it should be inserted.

7) Now you are ready to launch the game with your new shortcut, and it will connect to the private server if you have made your shortcut edits correctly. To create a new account, just login with your preferred account name and password and the account will be created automatically.

8) Before you start playing, you are required to read our READ ME thread (linked below). This thread contains very important information about bugs, features, and gameplay rules for the WK Lin1 server.

Cannot connect to your server because many US and all of Mexico internet companies now block Port 2000 IP's, need to get a 2800 port IP for many people to connect. Including me!

With the problems you're having with you ISP, you should think about updating this thread everytime you get a new IP. Might help newer players to this server, since they may be unaware of the IP changes. Just a thought!

this work on a mac?

There is not a version of the private server connector for Mac, unfortunately. Can be run on a Mac via Parallels, VMware, or Bootcamp with Windows XP.

its saying that the compressed zip file is invalid or corrupted how do i fix this i followed the steps but cant figure it out any help would be greatly appreciated

its saying that the target name is invalid or that the path or the file name is incorrect i dont know what to do...
